Gerflor puts its expertise and technology at the service of the Musée des Confluences de Lyon

The Musée des Confluences occupies a unique place in Europe, bringing together different scientific disciplines to understand the history of humanity.

Situated in an impressive environmental and architectural location, where Rhône and Saône rivers converge, the Musée des Confluences addresses major global issues: the origin and future of humanity; the diversity of cultures and societies; and the place of the human within the living. The Musée des Confluences invites us to learn and understand.

With more than 680,000 visitors per year, the Musée des Confluences is the most visited museum in France after Paris.

A new partnership between Gerflor and the Musée des Confluences.

Gerflor's technical experts and designers have taken up the challenge of helping to create the immersive nature of the exhibition.
By donating the skills and experience of their technical team, Gerflor has worked with the museum’s in-house specialists to create the striking floor
and wall decorations of the different exhibition spaces.

The products used

Gerflor supplied and installed 76 m² of a new range of floor coverings, Taralay Impression Numérique, and 26 m² of SPM Decoprint wall coverings. These two products benefit from the latest digital printing technologies to enable architects and interior designers to offer their customers increasingly unique and personalized projects.
