Gerflor, supplier of the men’s Handball World Championship in Qatar

Gerflor is delighted to supply the IHF World Championships for the first time in the Middle East for an IHF senior Event from 15^th January to 1^st February 2015. The competition will take place in 3 different places:

• Lusail
• Al Sadd
• Duhail

Qatari organizers are eager to use the most performing floor for this event: our 9 mm Taraflex Sport M Performance floor.
For the first time, corporate IHF colours (Lagoon and Blue) were turned into Qatari flag: "Grenat" colour and Silver Gray.

Gerflor managed successfully to produce, deliver and install 9 stunning floors i.e more than 11 500 sqm. Every new sport hall is equipped with one competition and two training courts.
The winner of the World Championship will be qualified for Rio Olympic Games and the best 6 followers will take part to the 3 Olympic tournaments that will be played next year.

15 European teams, 3 Asian teams, 3 African teams and 3 South American teams are qualified for Qatar 2015.
