1st European Games - Baku 2015
The European Games is a multi-sport event organised and regulated by the European Olympic Committee held every four years.
The 1st issue took place in Baku, Azerbaijan from June 12 to 28 2015.
Over 6000 athletes from all over Europe have competed across a wide range of sports.
Gerflor floorings have been chosen for the equipment of the athletes' village and of course to fit the sports courts for volleyball and badminton competitions.
- 7800 sqm of Tarasafe safety flooring were installed in the athletes' village
- 3800 sqm of Taraflex Sport M Evolution - indoor sport surfaces - for the volleyball competition
- 3000 sqm of Taraflex Table Tennis portable court
This 1st issue was a great success and let's hope we will meet again in 4 years!
