Euro 2008 Handball

Gerflor official supplier to the Men's Handball European Championship in Norway (Jan. 17-27th).

The European competition takes place every other year with the 16 best European national teams.

The 2008 issue is held in Norway and 5 cities welcome the competition: Trondheim, Stavanger, Bergen, Drammen and Lillehammer for the semi-finals and finals.

All matches are played on Taraflex® Sport M Plus by Gerflor - the indoor sport surface was selected by EHF (European Handball Federation) and special colours were developped to match the Federation's requirement.

The sports floor is equipped with a double density foam backing (shock absorption) and a reinforced surface complex to secure athletes' safety and sports performances of the product : ball bounce...

4400 sqm  (in 124 sheets) were delivered by the Gerflor teams for the event.
