As part of the International Year of Planet Earth, the exhibition "Planet Earth's future : can we afford to gamble ?" has taken place from October 6th to October 23rd on the Parvis of Paris La Defense.
For 3 weeks, the Parvis of Paris La Defense has taken new colours, those of our planet Earth, printed (digital printing process with UV inks) on a Gerflor floor.
26 rolls of 35 meters each have been installed, representing a total area of 1 500 m2.

This exhibition has been a superb opportunity to demonstrate in huge size the benefits of Gerflor flooring :
- Texline®, the textile backing only by Gerflor, to enable installation on uneven subfloor (the Parvis of Paris La Defense in this case !)
- a wide variety of designs thanks to new printing technologies. Although Gerflor floorings are normally meant for indoor applications, the pictures are here to prove that the colour rendering is spectacular and has remained perfect during the whole course of the exhibition.
